How to register for CIPLE
You register directly with CAPLE, choosing the centre and the sitting. The fee is €95 and registration is only final once it is paid.
Step by step
The whole process is online and takes a few minutes, but it has one deadline that catches people out: payment.
- ·Choose the exam (CIPLE) and the country
- ·Choose a centre — there are around a hundred worldwide, and roughly eighteen in Portugal
- ·Choose the sitting from those the centre is running
- ·Enter your details exactly as they appear on the ID you will bring
- ·Pay. If you do not, the registration is cancelled and you have to start again
On the day
Bring the original of the identity document you registered with — national ID card, passport or residence permit. Arrive twenty minutes early.
Arriving more than fifteen minutes late to the written paper means you cannot sit it. Arriving late for the listening means the same, because it cannot be interrupted.
Do not write your name anywhere on the paper. Doing so annuls the exam.
